Last updated: March 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PitchKit, a WordPress plugin developed and maintained by Dendro Logic Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom (Company Number 16982433).
By purchasing, installing, or using PitchKit, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the software.
2. Definitions
- "PitchKit" or "the Plugin" refers to the PitchKit WordPress plugin software and any associated updates or documentation.
- "You" or "the User" refers to any individual or organisation that purchases, installs, or uses PitchKit.
- "Listener" refers to any person who accesses a shared reel or track link generated by PitchKit.
- "We", "Us", or "Our" refers to Dendro Logic Ltd.
3. Licence
PitchKit is licensed on an annual subscription basis. Upon purchase, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use PitchKit on one WordPress installation for the duration of your active licence period.
Your licence includes access to plugin updates and support for the duration of your subscription. If your licence expires, the plugin will continue to function but you will no longer receive updates or support.
You may not redistribute, resell, sublicence, or share the plugin files with third parties. You may not modify the plugin for the purpose of removing licence restrictions.
4. Your content
PitchKit is a self-hosted plugin. All audio files, artwork, contact data, and analytics are stored on your own WordPress installation and server. We do not host, access, or store your content on our servers.
You are solely responsible for the content you upload and share through PitchKit. You confirm that you hold the necessary rights and permissions for any music, artwork, or other media you distribute using the plugin.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of PitchKit complies with all applicable laws, including copyright, data protection, and electronic communications regulations.
5. Data and privacy
PitchKit collects listening analytics (play events, session data, feedback) on your behalf and stores this data in your WordPress database. As the data controller, you are responsible for complying with GDPR and any other applicable data protection laws.
PitchKit provides tools to support your compliance, including opt-out links for contacts and IP address hashing for anonymisation. However, it is your responsibility to ensure your use of these features meets your legal obligations.
For details on how we handle data on pitchkit.co.uk, please see our Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use PitchKit to:
- Distribute content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
- Send unsolicited bulk communications (spam) through the mail-out features.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the plugin.
- Use the plugin in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
7. Updates and support
We aim to provide regular updates to improve functionality, fix bugs, and address security issues. Updates are delivered through the WordPress plugin update system while your licence is active.
Support is provided via email during your active licence period. We will make reasonable efforts to respond to support requests within 2 business days, though response times may vary.
8. Refunds
We offer a 14-day refund policy from the date of purchase. If PitchKit does not work as described and we are unable to resolve the issue, you may request a full refund within this period.
Refund requests should be sent to hello@pitchkit.co.uk with your order details and a description of the issue.
9. Limitation of liability
PitchKit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the plugin will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all hosting environments.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dendro Logic Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of PitchKit, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.
Our total liability in connection with PitchKit shall not exceed the amount you paid for your current licence period.
10. Termination
You may stop using PitchKit at any time by deactivating and deleting the plugin from your WordPress installation.
We reserve the right to revoke your licence if you breach these Terms, including redistributing the plugin or using it for illegal purposes. In such cases, no refund will be provided.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of PitchKit after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of PitchKit shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
